Who we are
Evocation is a Canberra local photograph conservation service collaboratively set up by Angela (photograph conservator) and Anna (heritage consultant) to provide professional conservation services to individuals and families in the region.
Angela is a professional conservator, specialising in photographic materials, with a Master's in Creative and Cultural Futures from the University of Canberra. As a passionate professional in the creative industries, her toolkit includes skills and experience in multimedia art, heritage conservation, expressive arts-based therapy, and project management.
Anna is a heritage consultant with a Bachelor of Arts (Culture and Heritage) from the University of Canberra. She has experience working in the GLAM Sector and has actively assisted in the completion of a variety of collection management tasks, including object examination, cataloguing, digitisation and research. She has a particular interest in the influence of affect on heritage and the value placed upon it by individuals and communities.
